Alan Goldstein is an improviser, actor, teacher, and producer who began his theater voyage in 2009, two weeks before his 50th birthday. He is also a founding member of the Phoenix Theatre Company, a small troupe that serves the elderly community in the Triangle. Alan loves teaching students of all ages but especially enjoys helping older students discover the joys and benefits of improvising. His latest improv passion is exploring positive comedy. Be sure to ask him what this means because he is still figuring it out. During business hours Alan manages a microbiology laboratory.
