Do you love theater and performing in school productions but still feel like something is missing? This workshop will help you to stand up and stand out. Do people say you’re a ham? Or are you shy and want a chance not to be? Are you natural born performer or feel like you could be if given the chance? Big personality or hiding your light under a bushel? Or the class clown or the class clowns shy best friend? This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of improv and will help you shine on stage and throughout your life. Learn how to speak up on stage and develop confident choices and points of view that are fun and unique for even the most familiar of characters. Bianca will help you discover how to make the best choices for you that are win-win and problem solving, on stage and off, in a nurturing and supportive environment! And, perhaps most importantly, you will leave this workshop empowered by the ability to carry yourself with confidence, and to never be afraid to be who you are.

Bianca Casusol is a performer based out of New York. She has taught improvisation and comedy at the Magnet Theater and The North Carolina Theater Conservatory. When she’s not performing on a house team SheWolf, she’s turning children’s stories into sketches as a touring member of The Story Pirates. Her work has been featured on The Truth Podcast, Hot Mic with Dan Savage, Risk!, Bust Magazine and Reductress.
Bianca recently completed a PIT workshop with Fairplay MN, an advocacy organization based in Minneapolis that works to build equity for women, trans, femme and non-binary improvisers on stages locally and nationally. The group offers educational training nationwide for improvisers, teachers and theater staff on sexual harassment and assault in improv.
