Level 0: Joy of Improv

No pressure Improv. Dip your toe into the joyous pool of improv. Level 0 means 0% fear, 100% fun. This is the perfect place for absolute beginners to get acquainted with the art of longform improvisation. Every week you will play in a safe and positive class environment with group exercises and scenework. It’s the perfect spoonful of improv, come have a taste! Please note that there is no graduation show for this class.
Level 0 is a four week class and will run on Mondays 6:30pm-9:00pm from March 19th to April 9th.

About Your Instructor:
Steven has been actively performing improv since 2001 when he became a member of Transactors Improv Company. He has performed not only locally but also at improv festivals in Chicago and Miami. Over the past ten years, Steven has taught improvisation to a variety of individuals in school systems throughout the southeast, at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business, and in local classes around the Triangle. Since high school, he has been cast in numerous productions and was most recently seen in A Trailer Park Christmas at Man Bites Dog Theater in Durham, NC. Outside of the theater world, Steven is a father to his wonderful kids, and works locally in community mental health at Club Nova in Carrboro, NC.
