Ready for the best Sunday you’ve ever spent with your Mom? In this workshop you’ll learn how to use the improv principle of “Yes, And…!” in both your lives and your relationship with each other. You’ll learn how to improve communication, how to truly listen and react without interrupting or making assumptions about what someone is going to say next. The lessons learned and skills you take out of the classroom will last a lifetime and help you both discover what you love most about each other. You’ll find new ways to communicate by making statements rather than asking questions and you’ll have fun along the way.
Bianca Casusol is a performer based out of New York City. You can find her as an adult acting like a kid, on stages at venues around the city like The Magnet Theater with her house team SheWolf.
She’s an experienced teacher, having taught improvisation and comedy at The Magnet Theater in New York City, in Chapel Hill, and The North Carolina Theater Conservatory.
When she’s not playing make believe on stage, she’s turning children’s short stories into sketches as a touring member of The Story Pirates. Her work has been featured on The Truth Podcast, Hot Mic with Dan Savage, Risk!, Bust Magazine, and Reductress.
She is excited to be the first instructor hired by The PIT – Chapel Hill to teach.
