For three years straight,StoryFest:A Festival of Storytelling has been bringing the finest in NYC storytelling. Now the festival is coming to Chapel HIll at the People’s Improv Theater’s new location
StoryFest is a two-day festival that celebrates the best of the Triangle and New York City comedy storytelling scene; featuring some of the top storytelling shows the area has to offer coming to the PIT Chapel Hill.
Produced by Harmon Leon (This American Life, Vice) in tandem with The PIT, StoryFest spotlights the wide variety themed shows that dot both the North Carolina and New York landscape – and trumpets why our city is the number one in the world when it comes to our storytelling scene.

4PM: L.E. ZARLING’S WISCONSIN LAUGH TRIP
An improvised trip around this big ol’ country called America. The show features monologues from characters L.E. has met or imagined or invented on her travels, who are then filtered through her Wisconsin sense of hard work, sarcasm and gemütlichkeit.

Hunter Gardner is a writer and performer currently residing in Raleigh, NC. His previous work includes a one-man show Drinking With Jesus which toured venues and festivals along the east coast as well as the web series Shepic Fail with reality star Shep Rose.
